Argentina: Menos de un mes para el principal evento de litio de la región / Less than a month to go before the region´s main lithium event

Julio 14, 2023. Uno de los eventos más reconocidos vinculados al litio se llevará a cabo en la provincia de Salta el próximo 9 y 10 de agosto. El “Seminario Internacional: Litio en Sudamérica” es organizado por Panorama Minero y desde 2011 oficia como la cita de preferencia para aquellos interesados en este sector, tanto en su escala nacional, regional como internacional. Se esperan más de 900 personas y la participación de los actores más relevantes de la industria.

Esta conferencia y encuentro de negocios, apoyada por el Gobierno de Salta y respaldada por autoridades nacionales y representantes de las principales regiones vinculadas al litio, contará con actividades exclusivas de relacionamiento e intercambio, tanto comercial como de información, sobre uno de los sectores más pujantes de la actualidad.

“‘Litio en Sudamérica’ es uno de los eventos más destacados en su especialidad y posee un amplio reconocimiento internacional, siendo una de las plataformas pioneras en su rubro.

“Por eso, con la edición 2023 perseguimos un doble objetivo: por un lado, extender información de relevancia para todas las partes interesadas, y por el otro, fortalecer los vínculos entre los máximos representantes de la industria, inversores, académicos, gobiernos e instituciones públicas y privadas”, precisaron desde la organización.

Entre los conferencistas y participantes del evento se harán presentes las principales compañías productoras, más de 100 firmas proveedoras, autoridades de gobierno y más de 15 representaciones de países estratégicamente vinculados al litio. Dentro de los oradores destacados de la edición 2023 se encuentran más de 10 empresas con operaciones en
Argentina, las consultoras Benchmark Mineral Intelligence, CRU y Fastmarkets, las entidades financieras Citigroup y JP Morgan, el experto en mercado de litio, Joe Lowry, y la International Lithium Association. También serán de la partida la Secretaría de Minería de la Nación, la Secretaría de Energía y los gobiernos de Salta, Jujuy y Catamarca.

La duodécima versión del encuentro se llevará a cabo en la provincia de Salta, una de las tres regiones donde se realiza el simposio de forma itinerante, junto con Jujuy y Catamarca.

July 14, 2023. One of the most renowned events related to lithium will be held in the province of Salta on August 9 and 10. The “International Seminar: Lithium in South America” is organized by Panorama Minero and since 2011 it has been the appointment of choice for those interested in this sector, both at national, regional and international level. More than 900 people and the participation of the most relevant players in the industry are expected.

This conference and business meeting, supported by the Government of Salta and backed by national authorities and representatives of the main lithium-related regions, will include exclusive networking and exchange activities, both commercial and information, on one of today’s most booming sectors.

“Lithium in South America’ is one of the most outstanding events in its specialty and has a wide international recognition, being one of the pioneer platforms in its field.

“Therefore, with the 2023 edition we pursue a double objective: on the one hand, to spread relevant information to all interested parties, and on the other hand, to strengthen the links between the top representatives of the industry, investors, academics, governments and public and private institutions”, the organization stated.

Among the speakers and participants of the event will be the main lithium producing companies, more than 100 supplier companies, government authorities and more than 15 representatives from countries strategically linked to lithium. Among the keynote speakers at the 2023 edition are more than 10 companies with operations in Argentina, the consulting firms Benchmark Argentina, the consulting firms Benchmark Mineral Intelligence, CRU and Fastmarkets, the financial institutions Citigroup and JP Morgan, the lithium market expert Joe Lowry, and the International Lithium Association. The National Mining Secretariat, the Energy Secretariat and the governments of Salta, Jujuy and Catamarca will also be present.

The twelfth version of the meeting will be held in the province of Salta, one of the three regions where the symposium is held on an itinerant basis, together with Jujuy and Catamarca.
