Argentina en la PDAC 2025: Fuertes expectativas, presentación de proyectos y búsqueda de inversiones con foco en el RIGI ▶️ Argentina at the PDAC 2025: High Expectations, Project Presentations and Investment Seeking with a Focus on RIGI
Gobernadores, funcionarios nacionales, provinciales, empresarios y proveedores argentinos viajaron a Toronto en busca de inversiones mineras.
Del domingo 2 hasta el miércoles 5 de marzo se realizará en Canadá la exposición PDAC 2025, el principal encuentro minero mundial, y la Argentina participa con una importante delegación compuesta por gobernadores, funcionarios nacionales, provinciales, empresarios y proveedores.
La delegación oficial estará encabezada por Karina Milei, hermana del presidente y secretaria general de la Presidencia, que confirmó su participación dias antes del inicio del encuentro en Toronto.
Con el pedido de cinco proyectos mineros para adherirse a los beneficios que otorga el RIGI, el Gobierno ahora apunta a que más inversores se sumen al potencial con que cuenta el país en recursos mineros. Por eso, las carteras de proyectos y las expectativas en cuanto a la participación en el evento son muy importantes.
A diferencia de la edición 2024 que la Argentina llevó una comitiva reducida, esta vez el Gobierno nacional concurre a la expo de Canadá con el secretario de Minería, Luis Lucero; el subsecretario de Desarrollo Minero de la Nación, Mario Ricardo Thiem, y Florencia Mazzinghi, directora de Relaciones Públicas de la Secretaría nacional. A ellos tres se le suma el secretario de Finanzas, Pablo Quirno, un hombre de confianza del ministro de Economía, Luis Caputo, e integrande de la mesa chica que evalúa y aprueba los RIGI.
Por el lado de las provincias están confirmadas las presencias de los gobernadores de Mendoza, Alfredo Cornejo; de San Juan, Marcelo Orrego; de Jujuy, Carlos Sadir; de Catamarca, Raúl Jalil; de Santa Cruz, Claudio Vidal, y de La Rioja, Raúl Quintela.
Salta estará representada por el ministro de Producción, Martín De los Ríos, mientras que por Río Negro viajan la secretaria de Estado de Energía y Ambiente, Andrea Confini, y el secretario de Minería rionegrino, Joaquín Alberstain Oro.
En este marco, se consultó a representantes de las provincias y de las cámaras empresarias que viajan para que adelanten los objetivos del viaje y las claves de su participación en la cita cumbre que congregará en Toronto a la minería mundial. Para los distraídos, vale aclarar que PDAC es la sigla que deriva de su nombre en inglés de Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada.

To these three is added the Secretary of Finance, Pablo Quirno, a man trusted by the Minister of Economy, Luis Caputo, and a member of the small table that evaluates and approves the RIGI.
